When visiting the Town of Anthony, don’t miss Rollin’ Smoke BBQ, a beloved local gem and community favorite situated at 200 Main Street. Once a two-pump Texaco station in the 1970s and later an auto shop, this historic space was transformed into a barbecue destination in 2020 by Jesus Carrasco, a proud local resident.
Today, Rollin’ Smoke BBQ is famous for its two massive 1,000-gallon smokers that run overnight to deliver mouthwatering brisket, ribs, and their signature Texas Twinkies.
Beyond the incredible food, it’s a hub for community entertainment, hosting live music from Spring through Fall and the annual classic car show that brings over 120 vehicles, live music, and a Toy Run benefiting the Anthony Police Department. Open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (or until sold out), Rollin’ Smoke BBQ offers visitors a true taste of Anthony’s charm and flavor.
