Employees who are not eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance can explore individual
and family health coverage through HealthMarkets.

HealthMarkets connects individuals with licensed insurance agents who help them compare
options and find coverage that fits their needs and budget.

Licensed HealthMarkets agents provide support at no cost to the employer or employee,
including:
• Comparing health plans from multiple insurance companies
• Helping determine eligibility for federal subsidies, when available
• Assisting with enrollment in medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and Medicare plans

These plans do not require employer participation or contributions and are available to
employees who do not qualify for group health coverage.
