With Irving’s burgeoning visitor’s district; it’s a connection, a destination, and a state of mind.
Stay & play in the convention-centric visitor’s district
Irving, Texas is a whole lot of things, but ordinary isn’t one of them. If you like a nice big steak saddled up with your samba, farm-to-table with your honkytonk, or maybe a little music history to go along with your beats and eats… come to Irving where you can stay, meet, entertain and play in the heart of Irving’s Las Colinas Urban Center. It’s ideally situated between Dallas and Fort Worth, and just minutes from DFW International Airport.
#Irving Rocks, literally! A $173 million entertainment complex, the Toyota Music Factory at Las Colinas, is making a big entrance on the Texas culinary and music scene this year. A wide array of blockbuster entertainers have taken the stage at the Live Nation Pavilion indoor/outdoor amphitheater which anchors the Irving Music Factory. Shows have included comedy, country, rock… just about every genre. Entertainers from Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock and Trevor Noah to Harry Styles, Mannheim Steamroller, and Jewel have taken the stage.
The Music Factory is the second phase of Irving’s vision for a distinctive visitor’s district. The wildly-popular Irving Convention Center was the first, and a $110 million, 350-room Westin Irving Convention Center Hotel will be the whole kit and caboodle. The hotel will open early 2018.
Experience more than music at the Irving Music Factory
With a diverse selection of restaurants and endless entertainment options, there’s something here for everyone. You can enjoy top touring concert artists, plus local music, movies, eateries, comedy, art and culture. The Music Factory boasts 20 + restaurants, an 8-screen Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and 50,000 square foot plaza with live music and entertainment daily.
Live like a local
We’re artsy. We’re crafty. We’re diverse eaters and drinkers. We like history and adventure, and we have much to offer outside of the urban center too. Here in Irving you are sure to find a museum, park, spa, someplace to enjoy whatever you happen to be into. We know a thing or two about great food and are seriously two-steppin’ up our music game both inside and outside of the Music Factory. There are stages all around town with local Texas bands – The Ranch, Cool River, The Music Garden at the Texas Musicians Museum and the Four Season’s Outlaw Taproom where memorabilia embodies the wild, rugged spirit of the state’s landscape. And the Texas Musicians Museum in the Heritage District downtown boasts memorabilia from all genres and all Texas artists.
