DESCRIPTION:Registration has ended.\nIf you missed the deadline\, but want to attend please show up on Thursday morning and we will assign your visits. \nAttendee packets can be viewed and downloaded here.\nConverge on the Capitol is a vital opportunity for you and your colleagues to participate in the legislative process.  Your visits with your legislative leaders and their staff lets them see the faces and hear the priorities of the tourism and lodging industry operators firsthand – a critical component in our ability to be successful at the Capitol. \nWe will be hard at work on issues of top importance to the lodging industry\, such as full funding for tourism promotion\, ensuring local hotel tax revenue remains dedicated for tourism-related purposes\, support for the major events reimbursement program and events trust fund\, ensuring no burdensome regulations are enacted that would affect hotels\, and more. \nYou can read more about our issues here. \nSchedule:  \n\n\n\n10:00am – 11:00am        Converge on the Capitol Registration – Ballroom G Pre-function Area\n11:00am – 12:00pm        Briefing on Legislative Issues & Lunch\n12:05pm – 1:15pm          Bus Transfer to the Capitol\n1:30pm – 2:00pm            Visits with State Senators and/or their staff at the Capitol\n2:15pm – 3:00pm            Visits with State Representatives and/or their staff at the Capitol\n2:30pm – 4:00pm            Bus Transfer back to the Capitol
